Travis Taylor comes from a long line of lacrosse players in "lacrosse town BC," also known as New Westminster, home of the Salmonbellies. Travis' lacrosse skills developed at an early age, common with most British Columbia youngsters. However, Travis has taken those skills to another level and has been one of the top performers year in and year out in his peer group. In fact Travis is usually summoned to play for the higher during the season.

Travis has represented his province in the last two National Field Lacrosse Championships and will be counted on for the 1997 team as well. Coaches laud Travis' work eithic and skills. He is a superb runner and has a eye around the cage.

Travis plays a wide variety of sports, including: boxing, hockey, soccer and track and field. These other sports enable his lacrosse skills to flourish with the combination of agilities he has learned in his other sporting acitivities.

Travis has won merit awards for academic achievement in high school. He hopes to get his degree in Marketing and Advertising at a post secondary institution.

Travis is looking to continue his education and lacrosse at college beginning in September 1997.
