Kevin Pavan is one of the most deceptive and natural goal scorers around. Kevin is the type of player who always seems to be open and is a natural scorer around the net.
This season's fall ball (1996) at NYMA had some some Div I and Div II college coaches astounded at the ability of Kevin to find the open areas. "Fastest first two steps I've seen in years" is what one of the coaches claimed to Kevin's current coach Steve Mandell. "Hits the seams as well as anyone I've seen" stated another.
Kevin comes from a box lacrosse background but plays with a natural field lacrosse style. He has followed the footsteps of his two older brothers. Eldest brother Chris a Minto Cup (Canadian Jr. A box Championship) winner and current WLA Burnaby Laker player. His other brother Ryan, is a teammate at NYMA.
Kevin has decided to leave his home on the west coast and attend NYMA this season. He hopes to attract the eye of some college coaches who may be interested in him.
