Jamie Raffan's athletic skill has been combined with his lacrosse experience to produce BC's top player born in 1978. Whether it's box or field lacrosse Jamie is the player with the most abiliity. Jamie is also the player who gets the job done when the game is on the line.

Jamie has had a lacrosse stick in his hand for 12 years. His stick skills, allow him to take advantage of his fluid, coordinated running abilities. Jamie is able to turn a game around in a shift. Often scoring 3 or 4 times before the other team can again contain him.

As a field lacrosse player Jamie became a notorious D-man who did not get beat. His job was to remove the opponent's big player from being a threat. He always more than did his job with his opponent trying their best to get out of Jamie's area.

However, Jamie's running ability wouldn't allow the coaches to keep him on D. His play as a midfielder was all the more impressive. His running style is likened to a "scat back" from football days.

As a goal scorer, Jamie likes nothing better. He is the top scorer in the Intermediate 'A' box league where he plays for the Poco Saints. In field lacrosse it is all the better. He is able to set up teammates and of course score a ton of goals.

This semester Jamie is taking a Community College course on fish management. He would like to continue his studies at a US college beginning in September 1997.
